UNDER THE PERGOLA

UNDER THE PERGOLA was inspired by my sensitivity to the energy we all feel when we observe nature. The wind, the stars, the earth, and water all revive our spirits.

Here, I imagined looking out over a harbor from a high vantage point of a covered pergola.

This textured surface of this dream-like abstract landscape vibrates with energy. Countless layers of my own hand-painted collage paper and acrylic paint combine to add depth and luminosity to the surface.
