This series of 10 small paintings was created as a warm-up over a period of 2 weeks, before beginning several large canvases.
It was fall and the wind was blowing outside my studio. Leaves were swirling and dancing in the sun and this gave me such a delightfully happy feeling.
I was inspired to capture this sense of energy and movement on paper.
