What RESILIENCE Means to Me

My paintings generally focus on the resilience of nature and its ability to continually revive our spirits.

The textured surface of my work also serves as a visual metaphor for resilience. Just as nature changes to adapt, the canvas silently transforms as multiple layers of paint is poured, brushed and sanded.

The canvas is therefore reborn with an internal energy that echoes the resilient durability of nature.
