EMERALD MOUNTAIN is an oversize painting on canvas that transports the viewer to an imaginary location. A painting this size makes a dramatic statement in any room or office.

The sense of horizon in my abstract landscapes and seascapes, is a theme I return to often. These artworks are not of a specific place, but rather an impression of place. They are a fleeting memory of a landscape as seen through a colored lens.

The surface of the canvas is highly textured and tactile. When looked at closely the surface also continuously surprises the eye with underlying hints of colors showing through.

Only the highest quality paint, canvas and texture materials were used. The surface is varnished for UV and dust protection. The painting is stretched canvas over a heavy duty wood frame. The sides are painted matte black for an elegant finish. No need for an outside frame. Ready to hang.
