DISTANT HILLS is part of a small series of acrylic paintings on stretched canvas. <y inspiration for this painting was a field of flowers glinting in the light of summer during my recent vacation on the east coast. Because of the bright sun, it was impossible to see the specific forms.
It was the energy rather than the details which I hoped to capture.
