My inspiration for this painting COASTAL FLOWERS 2 was a beautiful field of wildflowers glinting in the light of summer during my recent vacation on the east coast. Because of the bright sun, it was impossible to see the specific forms.
It was the energy rather than the details which I hoped to capture.

It’s the perfect piece to add quiet energy in a smaller space. There are several small canvases in this series that can be combined as a group to dramatic effect/
