What’s it all about?

Like everyone else, I was quite affected by the pandemic. In my case, galleries shut their doors and all my exhibitions were cancelled. My last exhibit was in January 2019 at the Jen Tough Gallery near San Francisco. Then everything went quiet.

It was an anxious time for everyone.
I thought to myself, “What do I do now?”

So I decided to use the opportunity and the gift of time to create without pressure.

Normally I would focus on creating a specific body of paintings for an upcoming show. Now without commitments, I gave myself the luxury of trying out different ideas.

After three years, I now have a ton of wonderful art that should be seen in a beautiful home or office.

What will you see?

You’ll see my exploration of two bodies of work, which are the opposite of each other. One series is geometric and the other is organic.

I honestly don’t know what led me in these two directions. Perhaps it was my subconscious need to control the outcome vs my desire to paint looser.

Both series include small matted, medium framed and large canvas originals.

NOTE: All are Originals - Lots more to see that is not on this website

‘Exploring Space’ series
This is a series of small, medium and large artworks. With these, I used circles, grids and text to examine shape and color. This results in playful geometric shapes with organic feeling.

‘Forces of Nature’ series
These artworks focus on the energies of the natural world, such as wind, flow, and natural growth. They are looser and more organic, often with a sense of horizon.

Hoping to see you !!
